Love coming here when we visit FL. All I have ever had is ice cream. Always delish and some fun, interesting flavors. For instance today I had Thai Tea. Refreshing and delicious and really captures the flavor of Thai Iced Tea!
Store is cute and colorful. Lots of fun candy items including stuff I haven't seen since I was a kid.
So when u go out for dinner, skip dessert and come to Neighbors for use cream! -

Best homemade ice cream around! The Cookie Monster was my favorite and the Nutella oreo came in second. Their waffle cones dipped in chocolate are also very good, and did not leak when the ice cream started to melt. The ice cream shop is also attached to a general store that had a lot of cool things to look around at.

I'm pretty disappointed that I've come to Daytona Beach every year of my life, but had never heard of Neighbors General Store and Ice Cream Parlor until this year. The ice cream here is awesome! They have such a wide variety to choose from. There were at least 36 ice creams out in the display freezers. They offer samples, but if you can't choose between your favorites, they have the option to order a sampler (two or three mini scoops of ice cream). In addition to regular ice cream, Neighbors also offers soft serve ice cream, flurries, sundaes, milkshakes, banana splits, ice cream sodas, ice cream floats, and Hawaiian shave ice.
I just got a vanilla hot fudge sundae this time because that's what I wanted. It was very good and HUGE. The folks at Neighbors definitely give generous scoops. Everyone was friendly and helpful, too!
The general store part of Neighbors was fun to walk around. I saw a variety of perishable and non-perishable groceries, candy, soda, local honey, cards, candles, and more. If I'm not mistaken, I think I even saw a post office in there. Pretty cool! Can't wait to come back to Neighbors next time I'm in Daytona. -

Free dog ice cream! This place is amazing and one of the few homemade ice cream places in the Daytona area. The variety is awesome there is always something new to try. They also gave us free dog ice creams which were adorable. The food and desserts look very good too!

Yahooo!! What a great find in a very unexpected spot!
Delicious homemade food. Nothing fancy just the good ol' basics! Sloppy joes, sweet potato fries, nachos, and a chicken club was our order tonight and all were very good.
But the best part is the homemade ice cream which they dole out in generous scoops! Such fun choices like Witches Brew, Pirate Coffee, Peach Sorbet and so much more! My choice was the Pumpkin Pie, so good!!
In addition to all the deliciousness in the cafe section, there was also the cutest gift shop! Lots of fun candies, lots of super fun soda-pops, sweet gift items and must have gadgets!!
Oh and they sell local honey! Awesome!
The server was very attentive to our needs, gave us lots of time to browse the menu and ice cream choices without rushing us.
We will be back...with friends!
